I am the luckiest wife. Happy Anniversary, my love!

I can’t get enough of stripes right now, so I couldn’t resist creating a striped invitation, and that’s where Palmetto came into play. Even though it’s fairly elegant in type choices, the unique layout is what put this design in the Fresh Collection.

Stripes, grey and gold (and a hint of the arrows) were my inspiration…

Borba caught my eye immediately. I love a good clean narrow font, but what I love most are the rounded letters. Love that ‘A’!

You can purchase Borba here and it’s on sale! It’s usually $20, which isn’t bad, but now until June 1, it’s only $16!
For more font love, don’t forget to check out the picks of my favorite font friends:

Searose is classic and elegant in every way and is a truly timeless design. This design was my best friend’s wedding invitation 3 years ago, and we both still love it (you can see her version in my custom gallery). Searose is flat printed in the sample, but would also look exceptional if letterpress printed. Because fonts can be substituted, you could really create a completely different look with your favorite script font. Envelopes are another great way to customize your invitation suite…

I paired the light kraft colors with a light blue envelope and I love the subtle addition to the otherwise neutral color scheme. I have way to much fun creating these boards!
With a collection of 27 designs, it’s easy to overlook a design or two, so I plan to ‘introduce’ each of my invitations here on the blog. And since I’m often inspired by the ‘feel’ of a wedding (not always a theme, but that something that makes a wedding unique), I created an inspiration board that I think compliments each invitation.
First, I’d like you to meet one of my favorites…. Isabel.

Isabel is letterpress printed on natural white cotton card stock and features an intricate lace pattern that was printed with a blind impression, meaning that no ink was used. The result is striking and is even more beautiful in person (you can order a sample here).

I think Isabel could work for so many types of weddings, but paired with the green envelopes, it made me think of an elegant outdoor reception, and so my inspiration board includes simple florals, lovely neutrals, and of course, lace!

I just wanted to thank you all so much for the sweet comments about my new site! It certainly made me smile with every sweet note that I received, so thank you for taking the time to comment, like or email me. It made my weekend!
The new site is live! I’ve never worked harder creating this wedding collection and website and I am so very very happy!
A little credit, where credit is due…
The website is by Cathy Olson, from Love Inspired. The photos of the wedding collection are by Lindsey + Beto Photography, who made the website perfect with their gorgeous photographs. Spiffying up my invitation suites is the lovely calligraphy of Abigail Luby, of Chips & Salsa Designs. And if you make it to my shop and check out the Save the Dates, those engagement photographs are by Stacy Reeves Photography, who generously shared her images to compliment my designs.
But mostly I need to give some credit to my husband. He probably knows more about paper, printing, envelopes, and the many ways one can organize an invitation website. He has been patiently listening to me discuss every detail of this ENTIRE process since November…. that’s support people!

The Fresh Collection includes some of my more modern designs and layouts. They are not really modern by some of the current standards out there, but are a little more unique and playful than the classic designs from the Regal Collection.

Website launch is tomorrow! I know, I know – I teased last week, and I thought I was going to get to launch a little early, but Friday it is. So happy!

My Regal Collection includes my more elegant and sophisticated designs. I imagine some evening or formal weddings that these invitations would be perfect for.

I am just wrapping up the final details of the new site (SO EXCITED!) and thought I would do a little sneak peek of the collections I will be launching.

Many of you know that I had a beach wedding myself and so destination weddings always hold a special place in my heart. I always knew I wanted to some day offer a destination collection that wasn’t over the top or cliché and really love the final designs in this collection of travel-inspired invitations.
